I am a widow and live in Cordova, TN, a suburb of Memphis.
I have lived in this area for 40 years, coming to Memphis to attend Memphis
State University. I have two children, boy and girl, and three grandsons.
My daughter and grandchildren live in CA. I served the Girl Scouts
for 10 years as a Leader and Service Unit Chairman. Taught First
Aid and CPR for the Red Cross for approx. 10 years. Taught Sunday
School and Children's Choir as well as served in various board positions
at my church over the years. My hobbies are embroidery, sewing, knitting
and crochet as well as playing "at" my mountain dulcimer. I served
the American Legion Auxiliary at a local post as President for 3 years.
Last year I received the Iraqi Freedom Award for supplying soldiers in
Iraq with 95 care packages. The soldiers and veterans are very dear
to my heart. My goal in life has always been to be important in the
life of a child or children and it is nice now to have some of the ones
I have come in contact with to come up and reminise about some of the things
we did when they were little. Thank you for reading this far, and
hope you received some kind of blessing from this. May God Bless
You and Keep You In His Care! Fran
